Mike Jones | Guitar, Bass, Ukulele

Mike Jones has been performing and teaching for over 30 years and is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. A songwriter and composer, Mike, with his band Red Radio Flyer, released two albums with Motherwest Records in NYC, winning a Villiage Voice Pazz and Jop award for best song. He has composed scores and songs for numerous animated short films shown in festivals around the world. Since moving to Wilton, CT in 2001, Mike has focused on teaching. Mike tailors his lessons to each students’ needs and goals, learning the music they love, and mastering the skills and knowledge needed to become well rounded musicians.

Mike Godette | Guitar, Piano, Drums

Mike Godette received Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from West Connecticut University. He has been teaching guitar, piano and drums for 10 years and applies creative approaches to help his students play the music they love. He plays guitar in his progressive rock band, Mid Atlantic Title, and performs all over the Connecticut/New York area.

Jeff Guzinski | Piano, Guitar

Jeff Guzinski is a performer, composer, and teacher from Stamford, CT. He graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2014, with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz performance. Jeff pianist, bassist, and guitarist. He performs music of many genres and has played for a variety of orchestras, musicals, wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well as all around the club circuit. He has experience composing original pieces, most notably a progressive fusion project known as Mid Atlantic Title.

 

Kathleen Kruze | Guitar, Piano, Voice

Kathleen Kruze is a life-long music teacher with a wealth of experience. Being an accomplished composer of original music, she has recently produced two full-length CDs which are available on iTunes. She has taught all styles of guitar technique at Kent School in Kent, CT (2007-2015) and piano and guitar at South Kent High School (2010-2015.) Among the diverse positions held, Kathleen was Director of the Children’s Choir at Saint Marguerite Church in Brookfield, CT from 1995 to 2005. She is known for her warmth, patience and a compassionate approach to teaching students of all ages. Additionally, she has taught private students for the past 20 years throughout Fairfield County. Kathleen was Director of Music Ministry at Western Connecticut State University from 2005-2007.

Mike Chervansky | Guitar, Bass

Mike Chervansky has been performing and teaching for over 20 years. His approach to teaching is to customize lessons based upon the individual’s age, current skill level, and their personal goals; teaching them how to read music, phrase their sound, and control the dynamics to produce a cohesive piece of music. Mike is the founder and lead guitarist for Generation Blues Band, which performs throughout Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven Counties.

 

Mark Lyon | Guitar

Mark Lyon has been a guitar instructor for 13 years, and has taught people from ages 6 to 70. Many of Mark's students have gone to study music in college, and still study with him during summer and winter breaks. Mark has been the guitarist, songwriter, arranger, and musical director for many regional r&b, soul, reggae, funk, and rock bands. He has played throughout the New England and tri-state areas at some very notable venues including Brooklyn Bowl, Rockwood Music Hall, Toad's Place, etc. He teaches every aspect of the guitar, such as reading music, application of theory, ear training, composition, arranging, accompaniment, and of course the student's favorite songs.
