Songwriting: In a Word…

When people listen to a song most will appreciate a well-executed passage by a pianist or guitarist. But most folks aren’t musicians so they don’t really understand. They enjoy, but don’t understand.

But when it comes to the words it’s an entirely different story–everybody relates to those! We communicate with one another using words, therefore the lyrics of a song become arguably the most important element. We all understand the words.

Words–the lyrics–are at the center of the study of songwriting.

We can teach you the techniques that will enrich, add depth and interest to your lyrics–and result in more well-written songs!
